• September 2026: Very early leaf fall due to several heat waves with up to almost 40°C (!) and extreme drought from June to August 2026. It feels like in autumn if you walk in the woods as the ground is covered with dry leaves - some of them were shed even green: this is an emergency reaction of the tree when it immediately must reduce transpiration without having time to reclaim material out of these leaves. I fear some trees won't survive this summer...
