April 2015: Isn't it amazing how beautiful many tiny things in nature are? These blossoms look as if somebody fixed them on the leafless branch: there is only one tiny connection between blossom and branch. I was pleasantly surprised when I found this place in the forest with many tintorell [Daphne mezereum] [mezereon] (Seidelbast) plants. This is the only cauliflory plant of central Europe and it is very poisonous: eating ten berries is lethal!
