November 2023: Winter has arrived at higher altitudes! While down in the valleys the trees still show beautiful autumn colors, the first snow has covered the landscape down to about 1000m a.s.l. In contrast to last year many regions didn't get either a real frost or a heavy autum storm so far, and therefore many trees are still leafed and show warm autumn colors. Normally you look up from the green valley to the white mountains. The reverse view from white to green was quite unusual for me - but gorgeous!
