This graphic shows the Earth's postition on its orbit around the sun on November 1st - and it's the same picture as one year ago. During the last 12 months I tried to visualize the Earth's position on its orbit around our life-giving star and indicated the main seasons with colors which might have given you a clue of "where" (as to time and place) we were on our journey through the seasons astronomically seen. And time and again it broadened my mind when I compared this timetable with the reality and became aware of the change of seasons and the shifted seasons on the other hemisphere. As there are many different approaches to understand the seasons I will keep presenting such pictures - perhaps in a slightly modified version - to allow more perceptions to be detected.
