Changes in the last month: Arctic: Snow: The snow line moved to the north in Europe, in North America, in Asia and even in Alaska and Iceland. Ice: Still some ice on the North American lakes, less around Labrador, not much less around Greenland, and even more around Svalbard, but less in the region Japan-Siberia-Alaska. Antarctica: The sea ice around Antarctica is growing, the polar night covers more and more of the continent: more than half of Antarctica doesn't get any direct solar energy any more.
