World Wide Snow and Ice Cover Map: September 14th, 2014: The Antarctic sea ice is still growing and will reach a new record maximum this autumn, whereas the Arctic is about to reach its minimum. There is less snow in South America, New Zealand and in the Himalays region, but some fresh snow in some parts of Siberia, in the Rocky Mountains and in northern Cananda.
