World Wide Snow and Ice Cover Map: November 30th, 2014: The Antarctic sea ice gets patchy and has retreated significantly during the last month. South America and New Zealand: a bit less snow than last month. North America: snow covered as fas as south of the Great Lakes. The ocean is frozen completely now north of Canada (North-west passage) and Siberia (North-east passage). More snow in Scandinavia and Iceland. The snow line has moved southward in Eurasia. Snow even in parts of Great Britain, Spain, Turkey, around the Caspian Sea, Iran, Japan and more in the Alps.
