2014-2015 compare: Arctic: This year we observe more sea ice between Svalbard and Nowaja Semlja and north of Svalbard, but less in the Bering Sea. More snow last year in Europe. This map shows more snow this year in the Rocky Mountains at the end of January, less this year in Asia.
Antarctica: I would estimate less sea ice this year around Antarctica.
