Changes in the last month: Arctic: Less sea ice in the Gulf of St. Laurent and along the coast north of Labrador. The sea ice has moved southward in the Baffin Bay and in the Bering Sea and even in the northern Barents Sea. Less sea ice in the southern Barents Sea and north of Japan.
Antarctica: Significantly more sea ice around Antarctica, especially in the Ross Sea and in the Weddell Sea.
