Glacier de la Plaine Morte (Switzerland's biggest plateau glacier): This huge glacial mill was completely filled with meltwater. Just only a few days ago it started to empty. The first part of the channel that formed was still visible. It deepened more and more and after perhaps 50-100m the water disappeared into the glacier and continued its way under the ice.
