I am attaching my May photos to this email. We had some very
unusually warm weather last week (high of about 25 C!) and the snow
disappeared very quickly. Bill and I were out of the state visiting
our children, as you know, so when we returned it was such a surprise
to see how much had changed in just 9 days! Our friends told us that
during the day the aspen and birch on the south facing slopes burst
their leaf buds. It will green up quite quickly now so that by the
time you arrive many of the trees will be very green.
