As it turned out, a cold front moved in early this morning and it has been overcast, windy and quite cool. The branches of the trees were waving around so much in the wind I hope that the photos are not too blurry. The temperature at the time that I took the photo was only 9.5 C! I am very nervous because in looking at the National Weather Service forecast, I see they are predicting temperatures possible dipping below 40 F (4 C) tonight! We occasionally experience frosts in August, but not in recent years and I don't think I ever remember one prior to 10 August. So hopefully it will remain cloudy tonight (less chance of it getting too cold on a cloudy vs clear night) and not get so cool.
