We have had a lovely mix of sunny, hot weather and rainy days. This has made the woods quite lush and green this year. Fortunately there have not been many wildfires in the interior of the state so we have not experienced any smoky days, either. The garden is doing quite well, as you can imagine.
Yesterday we had some heavy showers so this morning the rain gauge read 18.4 mm; quite a bit of rain in one 24 hour period for us. The temperature was 10.5 C, at 10:30 am when I took this photo. The cloud cover was at 100% and there was some fog this morning, as well.
The sun rose this morning at 3:16 am and will set tomorrow morning at 1:56 pm for a day length of 21 hours 20 minutes.
This will be the last image for this study site since Bill and I are moving to Oregon at the end of the month. Hopefully, I will be able to continue in your project with a new site at our new home.
