The spring in the Great Lakes
region is about 2 weeks behind. Buds burst in the first week of May and usually that
happens in the middle of April. Also, there has been a lot of rain, flooding of
rivers. You will notice that my picture shows the river quite high. Farmers have not
been able to plant yet. I think things will be warmer and drier this next week so
the farmers shouldn't run into problems.
