Here is my January image. Temperatures turned cold just before Christmas. As you can
see, the river is almost completely frozen over. There is not a lot of snow here but
it has been cold. The kids and I have been skating in the back yard for several days
now. low temperatures have been around -15 C which is pretty cold for here. With the
cold weather, many people are excited about the ice on the lakes since last year it
was so warm all winter. Unfortunately, many people have fallen through ice and some
people have died. We are expecting a warm up for this next week but then cold again.
