I am including some quotes about this
spring and winter
in Minnesota, 2012. These were written in our newspaper by our weather reporter:
*We just enjoyed the fourth-warmest winter on record.
*In just the last week (March 9-16) the US has seen well over 1,000 high temperature
records-earliest
80s ever recorded for some towns in Wisconsin and Iowa and records for early
ice-outs.
*Let's just say it's historic, probably the warmest March since records began back
in 1884.
* I suspect we are four or five weeks early.
So as everything is greening up, many of us in Minnesota are still waiting for one
last snow dump
because we just cannot believe this.
