The last weeks have been extremely dry, nearly no rain. Today when I travelled to work by train I observed a farmer wathering his fields with sprinklers, and this already in may. It shows the problems agriculture has at the moment because of rain lack. Nevertheless it is a beautiful time for sitting outside in the evening, listening to the swifts circling around our house, we like them very much, their sound creates a southern atmosphere. In all the last years the first swifts arrived between 30th of april and 2nd may. This year they were here at the first of may, so they are not earlier than in other years.
