Sending the picture taken the November 1st. Today the weather has been
lovely with the sun shining from a clear blue sky and a nice temperature as
well. The beginning of October was very calm. Too calm actually for the
fishermen catching lobster. But I have changed to winter tyres on the car
to be prepared for the winter.
The weather in Hammerfest in the beginning of the month was wet. The whole
week we had rain and snow every day and the road to the airport was
covered with snow when we left. I visited our cottage one day just to check
it out and the temperature was 2 degrees C inside and close to zero outside
and with a light drizzle of wet snow.
The days are passing as they use to and now it's the time to do some
gardening before the frost arrives and there is lot of work to do in the
yacht club. During the winter months we have to make a plan for the harbour
and the ground around concerning the environment. All the harbours of
yachts and small boats in the county have to do this work so we all can
come together and do the paperwork and then do all the practical at home.
