October has been mild and very dry with just 9,8 mm with rain. Many places in Norway have had the driest October since measurement started.
Average temp has been 9,8 with a max of 20,5 and min 2,3. We have had high temperatures all over Norway and espesially in the north. That give problems for the reindeer. They need a kind of soft snow to get to their food and last year many animals died of lack of food. To day Finnmarksvidda have a thin layer of ice covering the ground.
