February in Livermore, California, USA. Cool weather persists. Little
rain since last month. Still, some flowering trees on campus are
blooming. These white flowers appeared in April only a few years ago.
Interestingly, several of these trees (an ornamental cherry tree, I
believe) are on our school campus and not all of them are in bloom,
only some of them. These blossoms can produce allergic reactions in
many staff and students.
