The tree is starting to green down. Last week the leaves were had a
greener color. Perhaps that is due to the cooler summer weather we
had this year. All but two states in the United States had record heat
this summer. California, where I am living, was one of the exceptions.
We had cool weather. I do realize that single weather events can't be
attributed to climate change, but the changes are interesting to note.
Northern California is having rain right now. This is early for us.
The wineries are working fast to harvest grapes and save this year's
production. How will the wine from these grapes taste, though? That
is an important question for Napa, Sonoma, and Livermore wineries.
The Sierra Nevada Mountains in northern California is expecting a foot
of snow this weekend.
