This summer has been
a first year for my banana tree (plant) to actually bear fruit.
Currently I have one stalk of bananas.. not sure if they will ripen before
it gets cool in the fall, but we may get lucky and have many bananas!
The large White Oak tree (Quercus alba) right behind the center of my house, started to turn brown last month and now
almost all of the leaves have turned brown. I am not sure why, but it
appears as though this beautiful tree is now dead.
