Today the temperature was about 12° C but it has been sunny in the south this summer but not particularly warm. In the north it has rained a lot and the temperature has been low. For the first time in 20 years our glaciers are apt to increase in mass this year due to northerly winds, heavy precipitation during the winter and cold weather during the summer. It has snowed several times in the mountains this summer. Last summer it was the opposite, it rained in the south but was sunny in the north so we in the south part of the land are extremely pleased with this summer compared to the summer of last year. Lupine has shed its flowers so everything is green in the foreground of the picture.
