I took at midnight on April 13th. The temperature was about 1° C and the northern lights are playing in the sky. Rauðavatn lake's ice has melted and the northern lights are reflecting in the water. Now we can't see the northern lights anymore because it is to bright in nights. The snow has disappeared from the lowland and you can see lights in the mountains where the ski resort is in the vicinity (Bláfjöll) of Reykjavík. We are still going skiing in the mountains. The sun is beginning to warm a bit and we are looking forward to get the warm summer days although the heat will not be more than 10 to 15°C.
