November picture 2018 - Iceland. When the image was taken, we got ice on the lake. The temperature was just above freezing point that day and we have snow in the mountains, the weather has been rather cold. The picture was taken 4th of November and now 10 days later all the ice has melted and the snow in the mountains has reduced because the temperature has been between 4° - 10°C the last days. This is how it has been going now, cold and hot every other day, so the snow does not stay for a long time.
I had to put the nails on the tires on my bike because it's often ice on the streets. I usually do it in November so it's nothing unusual about it and I'll take them back in April. We have only had 2 days of snow on the streets that disappeared very quickly when the sun melted it later on the day. So it is still easy to ride on my bike in Reykjavík.
